Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are restricted by social distancing measures to less than half our capacity. Unfortunately, WALK-IN traffic will NOT be permitted due to the intimate nature of our office setting. All eye exams, repairs, adjustments, edgings, frame replacements, and glasses selections MUST be booked with our doctor and/or staff member PRIOR to visiting our office and PAYMENT WILL BE COLLECTED REMOTELY, when possible. Ultimately, this will maximize the time you spend in our office, making it safe and efficient.
As a result of the COVID-19 restrictions, there will be fewer appointments available to all who need them. To best determine how to book you, we will REQUIRE you to complete a Medical History and Needs Form and Consent to Fee Collection Form within 48 hours following your booking your appointment by phone. We can email them to you, or alternatively, you may find them on our website. Completing these forms in their entirety and in the allotted time is crucial, as it will GUARANTEE your appointment. You are officially booked with our acknowledgement of receipt of these forms. Please note that there will be a charge of $100 applied to your credit card in the event you CANCEL within less than 48 hours of your appointment.
We will also REQUIRE that you wear a mask or face covering throughout your visit with us, and ONLY the patient will be allowed to enter the office, unless that individual is in need of mobility/disability assistance, language translation, or is a minor.
Purview Eye Care will continue to serve the community while protecting the public’s health. We will CONTINUE TO PROVIDE the following:
- Ordering contact lenses and shipping DIRECTLY at no charge
- Phone consultation/advice directly from one of our doctors; fees may apply
- Purchase of vitamins or eye drops via contactless payment and curbside pickup
- URGENT eye care as deemed appropriate through phone triage by one of our team members or Dr. Charlie Alfano
- Duplicate glasses orders for current prescriptions
Please call our office at 905-659-3937 or EMAIL us at freeltoneyecare@gmail.com. Our phone lines may be busy, so it is best if you leave a message clearly stating your name and spelling, contact number, and your concerns so our staff can return your call when they are available. Once again, the office will NOT be open to walk-in traffic.
In case of emergency, please phone our office at the number listed above. After hours, please visit your nearest emergency room.
